Little Stars (Ages 7-12)

$150.00 every month for 6 months

Building the Confident Creator!

Duration: 6 months — 60 minutes/week (Mondays, 6:00 PM)

$150+hst/Month + $50 Registration fee/Annually*

*Registration fee will be invoiced separately  

Program Overview A hands-on, progressive course that builds poise, presence, and performance skills for new talent. Each two-month phase focuses on practical techniques, studio experience, and performance readiness, culminating in a public showcase and advancement to our Emerging Talent Program.

The Foundation — Months 1 & 2

  • Posture & Presence: Fine-tune gait, eye contact, and “The Statue” hold to create confident stillness and movement.

  • Professional Etiquette: Basic on-set manners and the habits of “The Polite Professional.”

  • Studio Introduction: First group mock-shoot to apply posture and set etiquette in a real studio environment.

Expression — Months 3 & 4

  • Commercial Acting: Practice “The 5 Smiles,” develop expressive work with props (toys, snacks), and learn to take direction effectively.

  • Runway Basics: Introduction to the “Runway Bounce” for tempo and rhythm in walking.

  • The Prop Challenge: Create and record a short commercial-style skit to demonstrate timing, expression, and use of props on camera.

The Forge — Months 5 & 6

  • Performance Prep: Rehearse choreographed group runway walks and polish stage presence.

  • Runway Technique: Master the “Turn & Burn” — strong, confident runway endings and transitions.

  • Showcase Routine: Finalize a polished routine for the program showcase.

The Grand Runway

  • June Showcase Performance: Public presentation of the program routine and recorded work.

  • Graduation: Successful participants advance into Huxley’s Emerging Talent Program for continued development and career support.

Add-ons: Studio photo session — Individual shoot to capture a talent’s final progress and development for the start of their portfolio.
