Meet the Instructor

Vanessa Charters

Director of Model Development

Vanessa Charters is a model with over a decade of experience, starting in her teens. She has worked in editorial, commercial, and runway, and expanded into social media, partnering with brands and learning branding and collaboration. After teaching workshops, she joined Huxley to lead talent development.


Nick Fownes

Founder/Creative Director

Nick Fownes, native to Kitchener, is Creative Director at Huxley Talent. He began as a professional photographer, honing his eye for detail and composition. After moving to Toronto, he worked in entertainment, talent representation, and visual storytelling. Nick uses this experience to shape the Foundry’s style, lead photoshoots and campaigns, and highlight each model’s progress.
